The Trojan Women was written by the Greek Playwright, Euripides in 415 BC. It is about Hecuba, Andromache, Cassandra and the other women of Troy and how they cope after their city has been destroyed, their husbands killed and their families about to be taken as slaves to Kings from surrounding cities. It is often considered Euripides’ best work and one of the best anti-war plays ever written.
